Johnny Wayne Pierce
Johnny Wayne Pierce passed away on March 9, 2011 at the age of 63 from complications of a double lung transplant on October 19, 2011. Johnny was a latecomer to the Flathead area but he loved the country, the people and the view from everywhere and made it his permanent residence. First, last and always Johnny was a biker. He also loved his hobbies of brewing good beer, grilling, baking, canning, fishing and hunting with those whose company he enjoyed and anything to do with computers and the latest techno gadget.
Johnny is preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley (Leinen) Pierce, parents Floyd Pierce and Flora (Hammock) Johnson and stepfather David Johnson. He will be missed and remembered with love by those who survive him: his wife and longtime friend Sydney “Shawn” Pierce, son Joshua Pierce, brother Frank Pierce and Leanne, stepdaughters Samantha (Michael) Martin, Toni Jures, Vickie Scott, Sandra (David) Holtzem, step-grandsons Christopher Martin, Christopher and Matthew Holtzem along with niece and nephew Leila and Geoffrey Pierce and many cousins and friends.
Johnny was laid to rest March 17, 2011 at Resthaven Cemetery in Glendale, Ariz.
