POLSON – The Lake County Public Library will be hosting a Vintage Christmas Adult Coloring Program on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m.

Give yourself the gift of an afternoon of coloring in the meeting room at the library. The mood is relaxed and you’ll have good company.

A Classic Christmas Movie Series is coming in December. The movies will be shown on Tuesdays starting at 2 p.m. On Dec. 4, the movie will be “White Christmas.” On Dec. 11, we will show “Christmas in Connecticut,” and on Dec. 18, “A Christmas Story” will be played at the library. We will be serving popcorn. These are family- friendly films. The showings are free and open to the public.

On Dec. 16, the North Lake County Public Library is holding a food drive. The project ends on Dec. 22. All contributions will be donated to the Polson Loaves and Fish Food Pantry. Patrons with overdue items or fines on their cards are encouraged to bring sealed, commercially prepared, nonperishable food items to the circulation desk. Fines will be reduced by one dollar for each item donated. Please note that forgiveness of fines does not include lost or damaged items. Patrons without fines are also encouraged to join in this event to help replenish the food pantry.
