Glacier Lake School students perform in Ronan
News from Glacier Lake School
On Dec. 21, Glacier Lake School students put on the musical “Annie Jr.” at the Silver Knot in Ronan. Almost the entire school was involved, whether on stage in one of the 38 roles or backstage running the props and set up, as well as organizing the lighting and sound. Adults and children worked together to develop the production.
The musical fit in well with the season. The finale set was in the Christmas home of Mr. Warbucks where the orphans are reunited and Annie figures out the answer to the question: “Who the heck are Ralph and Shirley Mudge?”
The production was put on with generous support from the Ninepipe Arts Group, Leon Hall, The Silver Knot and members of the GLS community.
The actors included: Cora Lapotka, Lyla Johnson, Trinity Unruh, Jade Smith, Mark Hammond, Ezra TwoTeeth, Maude Pavlock Ferencz, Hazel Burton, Alia Johnson, Augie Pavlock Winkler, Marina Kestner Pavlock, Cede Hartung, Gabe Moxness, Robbie Gibbons, Evelyn Pavlock Ferencz, Virginia Harris and Mike Kennedy.
Alyssa Kennamer was the choreographer. Kemberly Gibson was on lights and sound. Joy Unruh worked with costumes. Brandon Johnson was also on sound. Christian Oleson was in charge of the stage. Ben Kestner was the director.
The stage hands included: Christian Oleson, Conner Ferril and Jewel Smith. The stage was built and designed by Caleb Burton and John Hammond.
