St. Paddy’s Day and the Ides of March
Have been here, now have passed.
The days are warming, snow is melting,
No longer can it last.
And ‘neath it all the grass is green,
And when the drifts are gone,
The cycle starts all o’er again
It’ll be time to mow the lawn.
The hearing clinic will be held here on Tuesday, March 26, from 9-11 a.m.
A new Tai Chi class will begin on April 9.
Plan ahead for the AARP Safe Driving class to be held next month on April 16.
There’s always room for more exercisers in our Monday, Wednesday and Friday groups.
And of course you’re always welcome to play bingo on Friday nights here. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., games start at 7 p.m. and wind up with a $100 cover-all game.
The menu for the coming week is:
— Thursday, March 21: Polish dogs, sauerkraut
— Friday, March 22: birthday lunch - roast turkey, dressing
— Monday, March 25: beef noodle soup, ham salad sandwich
— Tuesday, March 26: pork-tip gravy, whipped potatoes
— Wednesday, March 27: taco salad, refried beans
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Vegetables and a dessert are included with meals.
