POLSON — I spend half my life standing in a room wondering what I came in for … or I’m standing in Walmart talking on my sister’s phone because my phone is out in the truck. Until I look down and realize my phone is in my hand. How was your Tuesday?
Tax season is coming to a close quickly and the center still has openings on Mondays and Thursdays for AARP tax help, by appointment only and ending on April 15.
For those who need a driving refresher course, there will be an AARP Safe Driving class on April 16. You can call to reserve a spot in the course at 406-883- 4735.
Tai chi will resume class on April 9 and continue every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. All ages are welcome.
Bingo takes place every Friday night at the center. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and games start at 7 p.m.
Menu for the coming week is:
— Thursday, April 11: meatloaf, baked potatoes
— Friday, April 12: corned beef casserole, grape salad
— Monday, April 15: vegetable beef soup, tuna sandwich
— Tuesday, April 16: cheeseburgers, tater tots
— Wednesday, April 17: barbecue chicken, fresh fruit
A vegetable, dessert, milk, coffee or tea are included with meals.
Lunch is served between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Mondays thru Fridays.
