Mike Burke
POLSON — Mike Burke passed away peacefully in his hometown of Polson on May 5, 2019. He was 71.
Son to Paul and Eleanor “Tally Burke,” he was born March 6, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Mike, a helicopter pilot in the US Army, was honorably discharged December of 1970 as a Chief Warrant Officer.
Living in Polson for over 35 years, Mike (Uncle Mike to many), once owned the Polson Liquor Store. He served as the post commander for the local VFW and sat on the house committee overseeing the upstairs remodel that was enjoyed by many. His passion for the outdoors
He is survived by his son, Eric Burke and daughter in-law, Holly Burke; his sister, Melinda Eiteljorg and brother in-law Roger Eiteljorg and his nephew Burke Eiteljorg.
Funeral services will be scheduled at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of The Lake Funeral Home and Crematory.
