James 'Pete' Weber

NELSON, NEBRASKA — Nelson, Nebraska, resident, James R. “Pete” Weber, 75, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019, at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings, Nebraska. He passed away on May 20, 2019.

There will be no services, no viewing or visitation. Pete was cremated.

Pete was born on Dec. 4, 1943, in Saint Ignatius, to Jerl Charles and Ara (Green) Weber. He grew up in Charlo. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 to 1966. Pete married Arleen Teeter on Nov. 27, 1976, in Dillon. He worked on the railroad as a tie bundler. Pete was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed working, traveling, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jerl Pete Weber; his granddaughter, Harli Weber; his great-grandchild, Skyler Quarring; his brothers, Charles Weber and Jerl Weber; and his sisters, Hazel Trussler, Katie Seiller, and Linda Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene Weber of Nelson, Nebraska; his sons, Richard (Natasha) Weber, Rodney (Annette) Weber, Randy and (Michelle) Weber, all of Walrath, Montana, and Russell Weber of Guide Rock, Nebraska, and Charles (Shelby) Weber of Nelson, Nebraska; his daughters Julie Weber, Karen (Alan) Sagen, Joy Reynolds, and Jamie (Terry) Hyde all of Montana. Pete is also survive by 34 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Pete’s brothers, John Weber and Milton Weber; his sisters, Rosalee Noel, Eleanor Mitchell, Darlene Salomon, Dolly Fite, Terry McGuire and Lydia Pippins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, also survive him.
