Polson seniors for June 5, 2019
POLSON — If you love someone, let them go. If they come back with coffee, then it was meant to be.
The bridge group is back at the center; they meet every Tuesday and Friday around 12:30 p.m. and play until 3:30 p.m. Pinochle is played at the center every Thursday, and they are willing to teach anyone who wants to come in and play. They meet at around 12:30 p.m. and play until 3:30 p.m. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday there is an exercise group that meets at 10:30 a.m. and is done around 11:30 a.m. On Tuesday and Thursday there is a Tai chi group that meets at 10 a.m. and is done around 11 a.m. All ages are welcome for the exercise and Tai chi groups and for the bridge and pinochle groups. There will be no bingo on Thursday, June 6, Friday, June 7, and Friday, June 14. Bingo will resume as normal on Friday, June 21. The veterans’ representative will be at the center on Friday, June 7, from 10 a.m.-noon.
The Polson Senior Center would like to welcome our new nutrition director, Marlene Fahlgren. The center would also like to give a huge thank you to Alice Johnson, Jo Durand and Merle Walling for their volunteer work without fail in the center’s time of need.

— Wednesday, June 5: baked chicken, rice
— Thursday, June 6: sausage gravy, biscuits
— Friday, June 7: cheeseburger, tater tots
— Monday, June 10: vegetable soup, corn bread muffin
— Tuesday, June 11: turkey-ala-king, biscuit
— Wednesday, June 12: Swedish meatballs, noodles
A vegetable, salad, dessert, and milk, coffee, or tea are included with meals. Lunch is served between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
