News from Olivia Clairmont for Mission Valley FFA
LAKE COUNTY – The Mission Valley FFA had another successful banquet this year. On May 30, the FFA invited parents, supporters and local businesses to join them for dinner. They presented awards and announced new chapter officers. They also auctioned off pies and a number of other gifts donated by local businesses and supporters.
Matson McClure, the chapter’s former president, was given his state degree and the Dekalb Award for being an outstanding senior and showing a great deal of leadership through his years at Ronan High School.
The newly elected officers were put through interviews by Mitch McClure, Paul Guenzler and Judy Kudlock. The new officers are president Ty Smith, first vice president Hailey Weible, second vice president Kyia Hendrickson, secretary Jaylea Lunceford, treasurer Kiara Sherman, reporter Olivia Clairmont, sentinel Cloe Hoover and parliamentarian Kambrie Rubel.
As the new officer team, we would like to thank all of the local sponsors and invite everyone to come to the banquet next year.
