News from Killdeer Artisans Guild

ARLEE — Killdeer Artisans Guild and Hangin’ Art Gallery are hosting the opening reception for their summer show. This very special exhibit celebrates Killdeer’s 10th anniversary showing together, and the 16th anniversary of Hangin’ Art Gallery. The exhibit features artworks by Killdeer’s own members,  a fascinating and diverse group of artists, grounded in the Mission Valley and surrounding area. We’re pleased to welcome Neil Chaput de Saintonge, founder of Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, showing a series of his photographs.

Come for the Arlee Celebration Powwow, then join us at Hangin’ Art Gallery to meet the artists, and see the show. A raffle drawing will be held for a lovely hand-painted silk scarf by Diane Olhoeft, entitled “Dragonfly Dreams.” Chances can be purchased at the Gallery, or online at: https://squareup.com/store/killdeer-artisans-guild/.

Enjoy art, conversation, and light snacks. The Gallery Cafe’ also offers a great lunch and dessert using locally sourced ingredients. Expect a variety of work — including drawings, paintings, pastels, collage, photographs, and mixed media as well as ceramics, sculpture, and smaller hand-crafted items.

The show will continue through August, so check out this surprising local gallery.
