News from CSKT Division of Fire

FLATHEAD INDIAN RESERVATION – Fire officials with the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes’ Division of Fire have restricted debris burning (outdoor burning) starting on Monday, July 1. The fire danger level is at a moderate level at this time. 

Concerning campfire: while there are no restrictions at this time, we urge people to be careful with campfires and check for restrictions before recreating in the outdoors.  

Fireworks are prohibited on all state and federal classified forestlands. Wildfire season is here. Be fire safe and do your part to prevent wildfires. If you have any questions regarding this press release, call C.T. Camel at the Division of Fire, 406-676-2550.
