CHARLO – The Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana showcased a little more than a dozen local crafters, artists and food vendors during the museum’s Fourth Annual Cultural Arts Fair on the museum’s lawn last Saturday.
Fairgoers were afforded the opportunity to enjoy fine art in mediums such as painting, hand-crafted art, ceramic sculpture, woodworking and photography. Additional vendors displayed jewelry and hand-crocheted household items. Home on the Range Pies was also at the event - selling their homemade baked goods.
In addition to being a community event, the cultural arts fair doubles as a fundraiser. Proceeds from a raffle and lot rent from the artists will be used for the museum’s education and outreach programs held all season long. The programs help bring children to the museum to experience Montana history, including local events and culture.
