MONTANA – On Wednesday, Sept. 4, Governor Bullock will join providers and patients to announce funding to support a statewide health information exchange. The health information exchange will provide patient data in real time to improve care, and reduce healthcare costs by allowing doctors, nurses, and other health officials to access and securely share a patient’s medical records to improve the quality of care, eliminate unnecessary duplicative treatments, and reduce costs.
Governor Bullock will also sign an executive order establishing Big Sky Care Connect as the state’s designated health information exchange.
