POLSON — Exercise class is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and anyone is welcome to join. Tuesdays and Fridays there is a bridge group that meets at 12:30 p.m., and on Wednesdays there is a Mahjong group that meets at 12:30 p.m. Thursdays our Pinochle group meets at 12:30 p.m. All are welcome to come and join on any of these days. 

On Oct. 22 there is an AARP Safe Driving class being held here at the center. To reserve a spot call the center at 406-883-4735. On Oct. 29th, the veterans’ representative will be at the center from 10 a.m.-noon; no appointment is necessary, just come on in. 

Bingo is played every Friday night with games beginning at 7 p.m. Come and win spectacular prizes. The Polson Senior Center would like to give a big thank you to the many donors who have and continue to donate to the center; your donations are greatly appreciated. An especially big thank you goes to Marsha and Dave Nash for their many donations. 

There will be both a live and a silent auction at the Polson Elks Lodge on Oct. 19 from 5-9 p.m. for Kevin and Anne Engebretson, who were both diagnosed with cancer and are undergoing treatment. Tickets are $10 for an individual or $30 for a family of four. Tickets can be bought at Brown’s Jewelry, Eagle Bank, from Lisa Skalsky, or at the door. Lunch for the week:

—  Wednesday, Oct. 16: meatloaf, baked potato

—  Thursday, Oct. 17: fish patties, corn bread

—  Friday, Oct. 18: Swedish meatballs, noodles

—  Monday, Oct. 21: chili mac soup, egg salad sandwich

—  Tuesday, Oct. 22: baked ham, potatoes

—  Wednesday, Oct. 23: turkey ala king, rice

Lunch is served between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. The cost is $5 for everyone. Lunch is served with a salad and dessert and either milk, coffee, tea, or juice.
