RONAN — The Lake County Community Development Corporation offers free business workshops that will help you start up a business and manage your cash flow. These workshops are scheduled for noon-1:30 p.m. at the LCCDC office, 407 Main St. SW, in Ronan. Bring a brown bag lunch and learn how to make your business successful.
The Business Startup class walks you through evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of a business idea to determine its feasibility. You’ll learn about startup costs, market opportunity, financial projections and financing options. This class will be taught on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
The Cash Flow Management class explores managing cash flow because it is vital to business success. You’ll learn how to identify and measure cash cycle times for inventories, receivables and payables to ensure that obligations are paid on time. This class will be taught on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Instructor Dan Gorton has years of experience in business and finance, and works with the Small Business Development Center to help businesses start up, grow and prosper.
