POLSON — There is a hearing clinic at the Polson Senior Center from 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and the veteran’s representative will be here from 10 a.m-noon. On Wednesdays there is a Mahjong group that meets at 12:30 p.m., and on Thursdays there is a pinochle group that meets at 12:30 p.m. Anyone is welcome to come and join these activities. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays there is an exercise group that meets at 10:30 a.m. and goes until 11:30 a.m. All are welcome to come and join in.
The Polson Senior Center would like to thank our head cook, Wanda Burland, for 27 years of dedicated service. We wish you all the best in your next endeavor.
Lunch for the week:
— Wednesday, Oct. 23: turkey ala king, rice
— Thursday, Oct. 24: Polish dogs, mac and cheese
— Friday, Oct. 25: birthday dinner - roast beef, potatoes
— Monday, Oct. 28: chicken noodle soup, PB &J sandwich
— Tuesday, Oct. 29: Shepherd’s pie, beets
— Wednesday, Oct. 30: French dip, tots
Lunch is served between 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Lunch is $5 per person and is served with a salad, dessert, and either coffee, milk, tea, water, or juice.
