RONAN — What starts with e, ends with e and has only one letter in it? Envelope.
April 23 is the date set for the spring bazaar at the Ronan Senior Center. If you have a homemade craft that you would like to display and sell contact us to reserve a table. There will be local crafts, a bake sale and lunch will also be available.
Arts and crafts are done at the center on Wednesdays after lunch. There is free help with completing your taxes available. Call the Ronan Senior Center at 406-676-2371 to set up an appointment. Volunteers are available on Wednesdays.
Our monthly birthday dinner will be held on Friday, March 27.
Menu for the week:
— Wednesday, March 18: chow mein, vegetables, salads, dessert
— Friday, March 20: brunch, salads, dessert
— Monday, March 23: chili, cinnamon rolls
— Wednesday, March 25: Salisbury steak, potatoes, bread, salads, dessert
— Friday, March 27: birthday dinner - roast beef, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, dessert
Meals are served Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at noon. All meals are served with coffee, milk and juice. All ages are welcome. Please call before 10:30 a.m. to order or cancel a home delivered or pick up meal. Also don’t forget our monthly evening meal on the second Thursday of each month at 5 p.m.

ST. IGNATIUS — Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush.
AARP will hold a “Safe Driving” class on Friday, May 8, from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Please call the center to get signed up at 406-745-4462.
Meals can be delivered to qualified seniors; if you would like to order or cancel a meal please call before 10 a.m. We are sorry but there are no deliveries on Wednesdays.
Menu:
— Wednesday, March, 18: evening meal - corned beef, cabbage at 5:30 p.m.
— Friday, March 20: soup, sandwiches
— Tuesday, March 24: taco salad
— Friday, March 27: chicken pot pie
— Tuesday, March 31: homemade pizza
Our menu is subject to change.
Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
The free community dinner will be on Wednesday, March 25, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome.
The food pantry is looking for volunteers to work Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering for one of these positions, please call 406-745-0057.
Everyone is welcome to join us for lunch or dinner, you do not have to be a senior citizen.
