News from CSKT

FLATHEAD RESERVATION – The Shelter-In-Place order and the partial shutdown of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes’ government remains in place by declaration of the tribal council posted on May 13.

At this point, the shutdown is indefinite, however, the council plans to discuss the issue in detail in the last week of May, and this does not mean CSKT will return in June. The council is following the best existing science to determine the safest means for the tribal workplace to begin a return towards a phased re-opening and new normal. Any changes to the current status will be announced.
