RONAN — The Ronan Library District will participate in a virtual Library Comic Convention. Registrants can participate for the free virtual events to be held on July 30. To register visit: https://createsharediscover.com/vlcc-events/. In addition, comic and graphic novel publishers are providing free online access to a collection of more than 4,000 titles through Aug. 31, 2020 — no registration required. Visit: https://mt-comics.biblioboard.com/ to start your reading adventure.

The 2020 Friends of the Ronan Library Short Story & Poetry Contests is open to students grades 3—12 grade participating in the Summer Reading Program. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners. For complete rules, visit: RonanLibrary.org/srp 

Our Summer Reading Program is Underway. It’s not too late to participate in this summer’s reading program. Register online at: ronanlibrary.readsquared.com. Participation earns tickets for grand prize drawings at the end of the summer. Registered children and tweens may pick up a Creativity Kit that includes basic art supplies, craft instructions, and ideas for summer activities. For more information, visit RonanLibrary.org/srp 

The library’s Family Summer Story Times are being held in the park on Thursdays at 11 a.m., where facemasks/social distancing required.

The Ronan Library’s current hours of service are Tuesday thru Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (visit RonanLibrary.org for any changes). Everyone is required to wear masks and social distance while in the library. Patrons are limited to 15 minutes in the library.
