ST. IGNATIUS — The St. Ignatius Senior Center is still serving only take-out and delivery meals because of the pandemic. If you would like to order a lunch, please call the center at 406-745-4462 at 10 a.m. of the day you would like the meal.
For our regular delivery clients, please call the center by 10 a.m. to cancel that day’s meal. We now have an answering machine, so that you can leave a message if no one is able to answer.
We have two-part time job openings. We need a meal delivery driver to bring meals to our homebound clients. Pay is by the day, and depending on the week, is 2 or 3 days of that week. Lunches are usually ready to be picked up around 11:30 a.m. The driver is usually done by 1:30 p.m. We are also in need of an assistant cook, on the days that meals are served. The position would be between 4 and 6 hours a day on the days that meals are served. Please call Irene at the St. Ignatius Senior Center at 406-745-4462, for more information.
Meals for the week:
— Friday, Aug. 21: soup and sandwich, green salad, watermelon, cookies
— Tuesday, Aug. 25: beef Stroganoff, veggies, corn bread, fruit salad, cook’s choice
— Friday, Aug. 28: Spanish rice and chicken bake, black beans, salsa, cookie bar
