USDA offers opportunity

WASHINGTON – USDA’s Farm Service Agency reminds farm owners that they have a one-time opportunity to update Price Loss Coverage program yields for covered commodities on the farm. The deadline is Sept. 30, 2020, to update yields, which are used to calculate the PLC payments for 2020 through 2023. Additionally, producers who elected Agriculture Risk Coverage should also consider updating their yields.

News from North Lake County Library
POLSON — The North Lake County Public Library has expanded their hours and masks are required for entry. The library is now open from Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. For Individuals at higher risk a special time is set aside on Wednesdays and Fridays form 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Curbside options are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. You can put materials on hold at www.northlakecountylibrary.org and pick them up when they arrive.
