POLSON —We would like to thank Salish Kootenai College for their wonderful donation of fresh vegetables. We understand they are grown at the college. They are beautiful and we have made good use of them already. Thank you again; they are very much appreciated.
Congratulations to Joe and Sharon McDonald on their 60th wedding anniversary. We were happy to have your party here and I have it on good authority that a good time was had by all.
We remind you that membership dues for the upcoming year are $15 per person and are due at this time. If you are new to our community please come by and check us out, or if you have let your membership lapse, come in and we’ll get you signed up again. It is $15 well spent. I’m going to be on vacation next week, (yahoo), and Jo will be here to fill in for me. Hope to see you all soon.
Bridge scores for Aug.10 had Dee Petersen first and Benny Kingsley second and on Aug. 14 Chuck Aker was first and Stan Petersen took second. Pinochle scores for Aug. 16 were Donna Cason first and Grace Schumacher second.
