ST. IGNATIUS — The last in-house meal at St. Ignatius Senior Center took place on Wednesday, Dec. 16. It was well attended and made for an enjoyable time with festive holiday music and a delicious ham dinner. The same dinner went out to our “Meals on Wheels” clients on Tuesday, Dec. 22. There will be no meal served on Dec. 23. We will however, serve lunch on Dec. 29 and Dec. 30.
The first meal in January will be lunch on Tuesday, Jan. 5. Beginning in January we will have only two Wednesday meals. One will be a dinner and one will be a lunch. We have had to reschedule the evening meal to Wednesday, Jan. 13. There is a scheduling conflict for Jan. 20, so we will not be serving a meal on that day.
On the menu we have:
— Tuesday, Dec. 29: chicken tacos with sides
— Wednesday, Dec. 30: meat loaf, side dishes
We would like to thank some very generous donors for several contributions made to the center during this season of giving. We are very grateful. It is so heart-warming to have such a wonderful show of support from our community.
