POLSON — Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. We still have a few See’s Candy boxes for sweethearts with a sweet tooth.
We are open but we can’t guarantee your safety from COVID, so use your best judgment about participating in activities and meals.
Activities: Board of directors meeting on Friday, Feb. 12, at 10:30 am.; veterans’ representative on Tuesday, Feb. 16; card bingo on Thursday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m.; bingo on Fridays at 7 p.m.; cards played on Thursday at 12:30 p.m.; mahjong played on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.; exercise class on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10:30-11:30 p.m.; AARP-sponsored tax preparation will start soon - call the center for an appointment time or more information.
Lunches are at the center, take-out, or home-delivered Monday-Friday from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for $5.
Menu is:
— Wednesday, Feb. 10: shredded beef over rice, mixed veggies, creamy pea salad, chocolate cake
— Thursday, Feb. 11: cowboy breakfast, link sausage, apple muffin, green beans, mixed fruit
— Friday, Feb. 12: taco salad with Catalina chips, cheese, fruit, Cupid’s dessert
— Monday, Feb. 15: potato soup, cheesy bread, green salad, fruit cocktail
— Tuesday, Feb. 16: sweet & sour meatballs, rice, stir-fry veggies, coleslaw, orange cake
— Wednesday, Feb. 17: chicken pot pie, biscuit, 5-cup salad, fruit cobbler
