St. Ignatius seniors for Feb. 10, 2021
ST. IGNATIUS — Hopefully you are all staying warm and safe at home. I’m sure a fair number of you have received at least one round of the COVID vaccines and many of us are waiting to get ours. Until we get more information from the health department and CDC, we will continue to have our once-a-month evening meal at the center, and the rest of our meals are either delivered or picked up by our participants.
On Wednesday, Feb. 17, we will have our in-house dinner. This will be roast pork with potatoes, roll, veggies, fruit and dessert. I do believe Jessica is planning on making bread pudding, which will be a treat. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. If you would like to pick up a meal, please call to order before 2 p.m., and pick-up at 5:30 p.m. If there are enough participants present, we can play a rousing game of bingo.
Please don’t forget our bake sale at the center from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12. Our meals cost $5 for delivery, $4.50 at the center and $4 for pick-ups.
Menu for the week:
— Friday, Feb. 12: chicken dinner, green beans, rolls, potatoes, dessert
— Tuesday, Feb. 23: pizza with burger/sausage, salad, fruit, dessert
— Wednesday, Feb. 17: evening meal of roast pork, sides, dessert
