FLATHEAD LAKE – Lake County Sheriff Don Bell reported that a human skull was located in the Flathead Lake on Wednesday, June 23, at 1:30 p.m. “Lake County 911 took a report that a human skull was located,” Bell said. “The report was made by operators of a gill netting boat who located the skull inside their net while pulling it in.”
Lake County Sheriff’s Office personnel investigated the scene, and the evidence is being sent to the Montana forensic science lab for examination. The Sheriff’s Office said that these are all the details available at the present time. Updates will be provided as they are available
