ST. IGNATIUS — Please join us for the Mission Valley Ranch Hands 4-H Club Bazaar at the St. Ignatius High School gym. Our bake and craft sale was last weekend and I apologize for missing the newsletter deadline to remind you. We will have more baked goods and crafts available at the bazaar and there will be lots of vendors and food. We are looking forward to this festive event and hope to see many of our members there.

Our menu for the week:  

—  Friday, Dec. 10: chicken dinner with potatoes, gravy, veggies, rolls, fruit, dessert 

—  Tuesday, Dec. 14: beef, gravy over toast, veggies, fruit, dessert

—  Wednesday, Dec. 15: 5:30 p.m. dinner - Christmas ham, potatoes, veggies, salad, fruit, dessert 

There will be no meal on Friday, Dec. 24, so that our staff can prepare for their families’ celebrations. We will send out an extra meal on Tuesday. We will serve meals on Friday, Dec. 31, for New Year’s Eve Day.

We want to thank a generous community member, his grandchildren and Janice of Daybreak Deli and Floral for the lovely flowers that have been sent to our Meals on Wheels clients. They would like to do this once a month and the grandchildren are writing the cards that come along with the flowers. If you would like to send a thank you, please give them to Gary when he delivers your meals, and I will pass them on to the family.
