House fire believed to be arson

POLSON — A vacant house at 111 Third Avenue E. burned on Monday, Sept. 10 at approximately 10:40 p.m. Polson City Fire Department, Polson City Police and Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies and extinguished the fire. Polson Fire Chief John Fairchild determined the fire was suspicious in nature, and it is currently being investigated as arson, according to Assistant Polson Police Chief Clint Cottle.

A joint investigation by Polson Police detectives and the Polson Fire Chief is ongoing. Law enforcement is seeking the public’s assistance.
