Activities:
Bowling Fun League: pay by the day - non-sanctioned, no-tap, Tuesdays 1 p.m. Starts on Sept. 13.
Exercise for mobility: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 10:30–11:30 a.m.
Tai Ji (slow movement for balance): last day, Aug. 30
Bridge: Tuesdays and Fridays - open for all - 12:30 p.m. beginners welcome
Bridge instructor wanted for new bridge players. Call for details.
Pinochle: Thursdays, 12:30–3 p.m. (earlier or later if you wish). We rotate tables and teach.
Bingo: Fridays, 7 p.m. Lots of fun, cash prizes, snacks.
Veterans’ Rep: The first Friday (Sept. 2) and third Tuesday (Sept. 20)of each month from 10 a.m.-noon
Pool: Open table from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Safe Driver Class: Sept. 22, 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. - pre-register -fee required for class
MENU (subject to change): sit-down, take-out, delivery, $5, 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
— Thursday, Aug. 25: corn dogs, mac and cheese, peas, sauerkraut salad, rainbow sherbet
— Friday, Aug. 26: birthday lunch - roast beef, mashed spuds, gravy, honey carrots, green salad, s’mores cake
— Monday, Aug.29: beef noodle soup, half sandwich, fruit salad, cookies
— Tuesday, Aug. 30: chicken enchiladas, refried beans, Frito salad, key lime bars
— Wednesday, Aug. 31: crab stuffed tomatoes, focaccia bread, Jell-O, cookies
— Thursday, Sept. 1: sweet/sour meatballs, rice, stir fry veggies, cuke salad, apple sauce with cinnamon.
— Friday, Sept. 2: pork with noodles and gravy, peas, spiced apples, dump cake
— Monday Sept. 5: closed for Labor Day
Membership Drive for the 2022-2023 year begins now. Dues are $15/yr. The Annual Meeting of the Membership with election of officers will be held on Friday, Aug. 26, at 11:30 a.m. Nominations are now being accepted to serve on the Board of Directors, (2 three-year terms; all officers for 1 yr. term).
