Editor,

On behalf of the entire volunteer staff of the Polson Loaves and Fish Pantry, Inc. and our clients, we would like to thank those of you in our community as well as several donors outside of our area, for your amazing support. Because of all of you, we were able to make our goal set by the Town Pump Charitable Foundation and will receive their matching funds. Without all of this help, we would not be able to keep our doors open, or be able to serve over 100 families a week, more than triple the number of families we served last year. This allows us to buy local fresh produce, eggs, margarine, bread, flour, and sugar as well as other food staples. We also purchase as much as we can through the Montana Food Bank Network. We all want to be able to provide more nutritious chooses for our clients. And as everyone knows everything is more expensive currently. We strive to help anyone in need of food to be able to obtain it.

With the Town Pumps support we are also able to help support the children in need with our backpack program with applying and receiving a grant from Town Pump. None of us wants to see any child go hungry and not have adequate food so that they are able to learn, thrive, and succeed.

We would like everyone to know how very much we appreciate your support from the smallest donation to the largest! Please know this thank you comes from the bottom of our hearts.

Deborah Chapman

Treasurer of Polson Loaves and Fish Pantry
