RONAN — The homecoming crowd at Friday’s non-conference contest between the Ronan Chiefs and the Manhattan Christian Tigers saw the Tiger’s football squad bounce Ronan by a count of 49-16, despite a strong Chief comeback in the fourth quarter. Manhattan Christian, now 4-0, is ranked third overall in the state.
The Chiefs stand at 1-3 on the season, and will attempt to upgrade that record when they travel to Deer Lodge to take on the Wardens in a Western 6-B game Friday. The Wardens go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 66-8 league loss to Loyola-Sacred Heart last weekend.
