Our family is writing to ask our community for any help that anyone can offer. Please let me explain.
We have four children in Texas over whom we have been fighting a custody battle for a year. They are 10, 9, 7 and 4 years old. These children have been abused and are waiting for the courts to give them to their dad and family in Montana. We have court Aug. 30 and must leave Ronan no later than Aug. 27 for the 32-hour drive.
We are in need of a vehicle big enough to fit at least eight people to get the children from Texas (we have a total of 13 teens in our home) plus gas to get to and from Texas and lodging in Texas. We are planning to drive straight to Temple, Texas, which is estimated to be a 32-hour drive with gas stops. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Our funds have pretty much been depleted with paper work, mailing and filing fees. You may verify our need with Donna Skelton at the old creamery mall in Ronan, plus we are more than willing to give you any information you would like to verify that this is true and real need.
We have a 1977 Ford Ranger F-150 pickup truck for sale, which books through NADA for more than $4,000. We would settle for $2,000 or best offer. It does need better tires and some mechanical adjustments.
We are also taking firewood orders, and very willing to work for any help. Our eternal thanks for all your help.
