RONAN — Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and here at the center, we will celebrate it early on Wednesday, Nov.14, with a traditional turkey dinner. Come i join us and get a head start on the holidays.
The center will have a spaghetti dinner on Saturday, Nov. 17, beginning at 4 p.m. and serving until 7 p.m. The cost is $5 per person, with a discount for families with more than two kids.
Until further notice, the foot clinic has been cancelled. The nurse is on sick leave, and we don’t have anyone to replace her.
Cards will be held here on Monday, Nov. 19, at 1:30 p.m. They will return to winter hours in December and will meet on the first and third Mondays of the month.
New West Insurance will be here on Monday, Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. They will answer any questions you have about your Medicare supplemental insurance.
We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and also on Friday. Don’t forget about the Thanksgiving dinner served at the Community Center. It is put on by a great bunch of volunteers and they always do a wonderful job.
Menu for the week:
• Wednesday, Nov. 14: turkey and dressing
• Friday, Nov. 16: soup and sandwiches
• Monday, Nov. 19: ham and rice casserole
• Wednesday, Nov. 21: barbecue chicken on a bun
• Friday, Nov. 23: closed
