In a state of “fright,” we’re pleased to say that the latest fundraising activity by our loyal friends from Timberlane Auto and Ronan Power Products was a screaming success. The organizers did an awesome job with the props, program and personnel … those kids (more than 30 of them) and adult volunteers were the real deal, doing the tiring work of providing our community with the entertaining annual haunted house.
We also need to send our hardy thanks message to Ronan Telephone Company, who donated the space for the Haunted House, and to the businesses that donated a wonderful new “haunted house” banner and portable restroom facilities. It would have been awful scary without them.
Thanks to several board members at the gate and the donated Halloween cupcakes from the kitchen crew at Kicking Horse Job Corps; each evening was well attended and appreciated. The thrill was worth the wait for most everyone.
Thanks to these folks and the newspaper and radio organizations giving us publicity in our community, the haunted house successfully raised $1,675 for the Boys and Girls Club. Without your help, it would be difficult to keep our doors open.
