I would like to say “thank you” to those who took the time out of their day to meet some of us soldiers who arrived at the Missoula airport after our yearlong deployment. I thought it was exceptional, as our flight did not arrive until nearly midnight, and these travelers drove an hour from the Ronan and Polson area just to be there to greet us at our homecoming.
So a big “thank-you” to Esther Gunlock who has also led the Magazine for the Troops, and to Bob Bell, Jerry Fisher, and Joe Boyer, who are members of the Patriot Guard Riders in our local community. There is no better feeling after such a long absence and the many sacrifices made than to come home and see those familiar faces and caring hearts there to greet you upon your return. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. God bless America.
