POLSON — Sandpiper Art Gallery, 306 Main St., will extend its hours to participate in the Polson Art Walk on Friday, Dec. 7, from 5-7 p.m. and again on Dec. 8 from 10-5 p.m. In addition to the many exquisite items for sale in the gallery and gift shop, Sandpiper members will offer hands-on demonstrations of their artistic techniques. Jean Stromnes will be on hand working on a watercolor or two and discussing the process with all who stop by. Mary Kelley will work on an oil painting in progress and discuss her methods and inspirations with visitors. Pat Wallace, a master of the craft of Norwegian Rosemaling, will demonstrate her skills. Sue Ball will demonstrate linoleum block printing and talk about printmaking in general. Carol Rae will be on hand working on her very popular jewelry designs.
