Congratulations to Joyce and Don Siers on their 60th wedding anniversary, Dec. 15. This couple is so important to our center, helping out in any way they can. They were married when Joyce was 18 and Don was 31; and “they” said it wouldn’t last.
More happy news includes the visit of Jim Barnes’ granddaughter Sarah McCullough, back for a Christmas visit from college in Nebraska. It seems like she just left to begin her studies and she’s finished already. She will graduate this spring.
Barbara Cripps proudly showed pictures of her new great grand baby’s first meeting with Santa Claus.
Pinochle scores show Sharon Gunzler as high scorer and Joyce Siers came in as the low scorer. Bob Cook played the most pinochles and the door prize went to Peggy Johnson. Many thanks go to the Dixon School students who created lovely Christmas decorations for our center. There were enough wreaths for each table and the lovely trees were much enjoyed.
