POLSON — Polson Police officers responded to Cherry Hill Apartment on a report of a disorderly male on Jan. 23. Brandon Ferguson, 19, allegedly was breaking bottles, yelling profanities and removing his clothing.
When officers arrived, Ferguson assumed a fighting stance and challenged the officer to a fight. After several efforts to gain compliance, officers deployed a taser, according to a press release from Assistant Police Chief Clint Cottle. Officers arrested Ferguson and booked him into the Lake County Detention on charges of resisting arrest, assault with bodily fluid, attempted assault with a weapon and threats and improper influence on a public officer.
After arriving at the jail, Ferguson allegedly threatened the lives of three detention officers.
Ferguson is currently being held in Lake County Detention pending his initial appearance in Justice Court.
