POLSON — The Sandpiper Art Gallery is pleased to announce the award of $3,000 in scholarships to five deserving Lake County art students who will be continuing their artistic education next year:

Breanna Bilile, Katherine Dagnall, Andrea Gibson, Kayla Johnson and Barbara Kenmille. All are students who are now enrolled in art programs at the college level or have recently graduated from high school. In order to be considered, all applicants must present some of their most recent art projects for review by the scholarship committee and intend to pursue a career in an art field as a profession.

The Sandpiper Art Gallery is a nonprofit volunteer organization of artists who are engaged in promoting the arts in the Polson area.  The memorial scholarship program is funded primarily by the Art in the Park festival that is held annually on the Lake County Courthouse lawn in August.
