Gladys Malmstrom
POLSON — Polson resident, Gladys Malmstrom, age 85, went home to her Lord and Savior on March 4, 2012. Gladys was born April 5, 1926 in Orange City, Iowa to John and Maggie (Oordt) Uittenbogaard, and later moved to Washington State at age seven. Gladys also resided in Arizona and Montana.
Gladys enjoyed spending time with friends and family, as well as cooking and sewing.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ray Malmstrom; longtime companion Paul Speck; and brothers Gerald, Arthur, and Andrew. Gladys is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Carol Sturm, a special friend and caregiver, as well as other friends who showed compassion during this difficult time.
A memorial service for Gladys will be held Saturday, April 28, at 10 a.m. at Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory. Messages of condolences may be shared with the family online at groganfuneralhome.com.
