Wow. What a month this has been in our little community, beginning with the International Showcase of Films, followed by Big Production’s offering concert pianist and composer Mike Strickland, and then the Ninepipes Art Group sponsoring a Valentine’s party fundraiser. These activities provide entertainment as well as an opportunity to be involved in contributing time and energy to our local society.
Many thanks to those volunteers who organized and then generated great enthusiasm for the recent cinemafest. Jeff Chiba Stearns, a featured artist, commented how much he enjoyed presenting his work here, and how well organized our visionaries were, working to produce such a successful weekend event. His expectations were more than met.
May this variety of events continue. Thanks again.
