POLSON — I have had a few responses to having cribbage down here at the center, so on Wednesday, Feb. 27, I am setting out the cribbage boards and cards and hope all interested players show up and have a good game or two. There is a $2 fee.
Beginning Feb. 25, exercise classes held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays will meet from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Please feel free to come in; we are always glad to see you.
We had a milestone here at the center last Friday. Wanda Burland, our head cook, celebrated her 20th year here at the center. She was presented a plaque of appreciation, a dozen roses and a card signed by all of us. We love you Wanda and hope you are with us for another 20 years.
There are no bowling scores for this week as Frani Basta is in Minnesota seeing her kids and grandkids. We will have scores next week.
Bridge scores for Feb. 15 had Dee Adams first and Win Barer second and on Feb. 19 Win Baer was first and Ruth Baer took second. No pinochle was played on Feb. 21.
