Ukulele players entertain St. Ignatius seniors

ST. IGNATIUS — A dozen local ukulele players and one bass player livened last Wednesday night’s dinner in the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center with rousing renditions of popular old songs. The evening meals have been resulting in good turnouts.
Activities for March:
Ayleen’s Quilters quilt in the center most Thursdays.
• Thursday, Feb. 28: quilters
• Friday, March 1: baked fish lunch
• Tuesday, Mar. 5: spaghetti and meatballs
• Wednesday, Mar. 6: roast beef dinner, 5:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Mar. 7: quilters
• Friday, Mar. 8: board of directors, 10 a.m., baked chicken and birthday cake lunch
• Monday, Mar 11: pinochle, 1 p.m.
• Tuesday, March 12: lunch
Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
