Judge Justin Bartels dealt with the following cases from Aug. 26-Oct. 13:

Jolene Marie Burland, 25, pleaded guilty to a seatbelt violation. She was found guilty and fined $20.

Bradley Allen Lehuta, 30, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs. Lehuta also pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license, expired less than 180 days. He was found guilty, sentenced to six months in jail, all suspended, and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs. Lehuta also pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days with 178 suspended and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. He must bring a valid Montana driver’s license to the court by Dec. 1. Lehuta also pleaded guilty to a second count of operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs. Lehuta also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended and fined $250 in court costs plus $35 in court costs. If he brings an insurance card showing six months’ continuous insurance to the court by Dec. 1 and March 1, the two days of jail will be waived.

Andrew Marroquin, 26, pleaded not guilty to speeding in a restricted/special zone. He was found guilty and fined $20 plus $35 in court costs.

Sada M Gonzales, 33, pleaded guilty to theft, obtain or exerts unauthorized control over property, first offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to six months in jail, all suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.

 

Conlin Jon Benson, 22, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of careless driving. He was found guilty and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.

Rick Todd Darnell, 44, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.

Donald Ryan Ostrander, 19, pleaded not guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21, first offense. he was found guilty and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.

Tara Monique Trott, 24, pleaded not guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, third or subsequent offense. She was found guilty and fined $500 plus $35 in court costs.

Edwar Anis Bishara, 45, forfeited a $50 bond for improper use of center lane of three-lane roadway and was charged $35 in court costs.

Shauna Cannady, 48, forfeited a $30 bond for speeding, traveling 37 mph in a 25 mph zone, and was charged $35 in court costs.

Courtney Manlove, 24, forfeited a $100 bond for speeding, traveling 59 mph in a 25 mph zone. 

Aniceto Hernandez, 40, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. If he brings a valid Montana driver’s license to court by Dec. 31, then the two days of jail will be waived.

Wade Steven Fuller, 19, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with eight suspended and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. If he brings an insurance card showing six months’ continuous insurance to the court by March 1, the two days of jail will be waived.
