Robin Marie Moll

POLSON – Robin Marie Moll, 52, of Polson, passed away on May 10, 2011, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula after a brief and valiant battle with a sudden illness.

Robin was born on April 7, 1959 in Billings, Mont., to Robert and Mary Wodrich. She was raised on her family’s ranch at Rapelje, Mont., with her sister, Connie, and brother, Mike.

Robin met Graydon “Brodie” Moll in 1994 and they married at Buffalo Bridge on the Flathead River on April 1, 1995. The marriage produced one son, Morgan Graydon, 14, an eighth grader at Polson Middle School.

Robin graduated from MSU-Billings where she received her degrees in psychology and Native American Studies.

She had a long and distinguished career working in the service of others, through her employment with Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, State of Montana Vocational and Rehabilitation Services, State of Montana Child Protective Services, and St. Luke’s Community Healthcare Network. Most recently, she worked for Lake County Title and Abstract.

Robin led a multifaceted and diverse life in which she traveled to and lived in many different places. She will always be remembered for her abilities in music; she played many instruments, sang and wrote songs. Robin was always creative; throughout her life she wrote poems and short stories and took artistic photographs of all the places she saw. She was a wonderful cook and baker.

Robin had a serious fall in 2007 that left her with a head injury. Although the injury made her unable to work, her beautiful spirit, humor, and giving heart were never damaged. Robin always put others first and up until the time of her passing, spent her days dedicated to nurturing the lives of her family, friends, and many pets.

Robin is survived by her husband Brodie, and son Morgan, of Polson. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Brynn Emma Moll of Missoula; father, Robert Wodrich of Rapelje, Mont.; sister, Connie of Columbus, Mont.; brother, Mike (Vickie) of Grand Island, Neb.; six nephews and nieces whom she adored, and many great-nephews and great-nieces.

Her family was the most important part of her life. She will be missed by all who came in contact with her. She was selfless, giving, and had a beautiful smile for everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a college fund for her son, Morgan, at Community Bank, 50510 Hwy. 93, Polson, Mont., 59860.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family online at www.groganfuneralhome.com. The staff of Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory, Polson, considers it a privilege to care for Robin’s family.
