Eric “Zachary” Young
NEWARK, Ohio — Eric “Zachary” Young passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013, at his residence. He was born June 7, 1962, in Newark, Ohio, to Donald R. and Ann (Sawyer) Young.
Eric worked for Owens Corning Tech Center and as a supervisor for The Limited. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and playing golf. He also played softball, football and touch football. Eric especially enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes basketball and football games.
He is survived by his father Donald R. (Toni) Young of Polson; mother Ann Young of Newark; son Zachariah P. Young of Brownsville, Ohio; daughter Tessa N. Harris of Brownsville, Ohio; five grandchildren: Kyla, Talon, Kadon, Carson and Addelyn; step-sisters Vanessa Hayward of Austin, Texas and Charity Reese of Virginia Beach, Va.; cousins Joanne Bevaqua of Orwell, Ohio and Mike Young of Newark, Ohio.
Calling hours and a memorial service were held at the Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral and Cremation Service, 59 North Fifth Street, Newark, on March 27.
Inurnment will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
