CHARLO – Approximately 50 school-aged children from the surrounding area came together March 26 to perform The Princess and the Pea at Charlo Event Center. The show was produced by the Missoula Children’s Theatre touring group. Alea Figueroa and “Chief” Rob Yoho take six days to teach children a play before performing at the end of the week.
Brightly painted faces and fun costumes filled the gym as the youngsters danced around the stage. The crowd was often brought to a roar as they clapped and laughed throughout.
The event was sponsored by Ninepipe Art’s Group, 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant and the Charlo School administrative and custodial staff.
