MAC softball on winning streak

The Mission-Arlee-Charlo softball players are on a roll, beating neighboring Ronan 6-3 April 9 before stomping Corvallis 18-0 on Friday and Thompson Falls 8-0 on Saturday.

Against Ronan, Sara Nerby, Emyli Gillingham and Alyssa Doty all went 3-4, with Doty and Gillingham turning in two RBIs apiece. Doty also had a home run, and Trinda Foust and Emilie Charlo each added one RBI.

On Friday, pitcher Loren Erickson threw six strikeouts against the Lady Blue Devils, adding two RBIs as MAC held Corvallis scoreless for a 18-0 win. Gillingham and Jordyn Eichert had three RBIs each, while Nerby added two and Lindsay Johnson one. 

Erickson upped the ante against Thompson Falls Saturday, throwing seven strikeouts and hitting a triple. Gillingham and Sahriha Camacho added an RBI each. Erickson and Camacho both hit 2-4m while Foust and Connor Smith were 1-3 and Gillingham was 1-4.

MAC hosted Florence in a double-header Tuesday, and Loyola comes to Mission on Thursday for a 4 p.m. game.
