The girls of Mission-Arlee-Charlo softball had a tough week, falling in both games of a doubleheader against Florence April 16 before dropping one game to the Loyola Sacred Heart Breakers Thursday.
The Lady Falcons held MAC scoreless in round 1 for a 5-0 win, but the Lady Bulldogs dug in for a fight in the second game, where the final score was 13-3. Emyli Gillingham batted in all three runs for Mission, while pitcher Loren Erickson, catcher Alyssa Doty and Gillingham each doubled.
On Thursday, MAC suffered a hard-fought loss to the Breakers, 8-6. Doty smacked a home run in addition to three RBIs and a double, while Sahriha Camacho had two RBIs and Emilie Charlo one.
Mission-Arlee-Charlo traveled to Corvallis Tuesday and will host Troy in a doubleheader Saturday starting at noon.
