POLSON — A week or so ago, I mentioned the fourth annual “Senior Open Golf Tournament” sponsored by Farmers Insurance. This year the proceeds will go to our senior center. It is open to all amateurs age 50 years and older and will take place at the Polson Bay Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday May 18-19. You can get an entry form on line at www.polsonbaygolf.com or get more information by contacting the Pro Shop at (406) 883-8230 or Tracy Dooley at (406) 883-0900. Remember, we are “Seniors Helping Seniors.”
We sure have some wonderful items for sale here at the center in our glass case. We have some crocheted baby sweaters and some beautiful hand quilted blankets. Stop by and take a look if you are want a nice gift for a very special little one.
Once again Community Bank is having their sixth annual “Community After-Tax Shred Day.” It will take place on Friday, May 17, from 9 a.m.-noon. They will shred your personal documents for free. Pease limit your documents to two boxes only.
The Toe Nail Clinic will be here on Wednesday, May 8, so mark it on your calendars if you are in need of this service. Think “warmth and sunshine” and have a really good week.
Bridge scores for April 23 were Dean Greiner first and Bob Gorsuch second and on April 26 Dean Greiner was first and Max Neeley was second. No Pinochle was played this week. Our condolences go to the family of Duane Johnson. We at the center will miss him.
